The Department of Telugu has its Existence since 2018. At Present the Department Functioning with one Faculty Member and around 120 Students. Here Telugu is being taught as a Second Language in UG Programm

• To expose the students a glimpse of vast treasure of knowledge preserved              in telugu.
• To improve interest in the literature and cultural heritage of telugu among the students, to promote
• the research culture in literature and language and to inculcate creative thinking and writing.
• To develop a sense of literary aesthetic appreciation in telugu language
• To build life skills through value-based education and service oriented programme.

                               Mission

• To Provide the Basic and General Information about Telugu Language
• To improve their mating and Writing Skills. Achieving the all round      Development of the Students Through Curricular, Co - Curricular and extra Curricular activities.
• To inculcate interest among Students in the Study of Telugu Literature along with Academic Excellence.

                             Values

• The studentsare advised to utilize the college library in their spare time, as frequently as possible
• The students are exposed by involving them with in the class room seminars and quiz programmes
• The department gives guidance and encourage the students who appear for T.P.T. entrance examination and PGSET in various universities and other competitive examinations.
• The personal problems of students are entertained and solved as for as possible
