TITLE OF THE PRACTICE

Training in spoken Hindi to students who  opted Telugu as second language.

Objectiveof thecourse

·                     To enable students to useHindi fluentlyas their mother tongue.

·                     This coursewill enhance their academic profile.

·                     To make students familiar with basic knowledge of Hindi language.

·                     To impart reading and writing skills in Hindi.

·                     To develop their confidence.

·                     To improve and enhance vocabular yand usage of Hindi.

   THE CONTEXT

Hindi is our National language which is widely spoken and understood by the people of all regions in India. India is a multilingual country. Hindi and English are languages widely spoken over the country. Knowledge of Hindi language will enable students to enhance their skills improvetheirperformance and to relocateto anyplace in India to explore employment opportunities. Hindi is not only popular language known all over India but also understood and spoken in other parts of the world too. There are thousands of Indians in various countries of the world USA, UAE, UK, France whereHindi is spoken. It is a language which unites the people of India. It is a source of unity in a country of people who speak different languages.

Practice:

When we decided to provide spoken Hindi training to students who chose Telugu as their second language,we came up with an idea for the consent of our principle. Our proposition was accepted by him. We identified all Telugu second language students and discussed the value of Hindi with them, as well as encouraging them to learn Hindi. On Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00p.m to 5:00 p.m.

1.  Vowels,Consonants-Maathra-joininglettersvocabulary.

     2.  Daysofweeks-vegetables,flowers,partofbody,Hindinumbers1-100,fruits- animals, birds, translations

3.  Self-introduction.Hindi dailyusageorHindi in dailyconversations.
